Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

I am addicted to these things. They are spicy and tangy and a great finger food. There are so many ways to tweak these to individual tastes or to what you have on hand. All and all, its a very fast and versatile meal.

Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

1/2 lb ground chicken
1/2 onion, minced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp ginger, minced
2 tbsp corn starch
1/4 soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp chili garlic sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 can bean sprouts, drained and rinsed
1 cup baby corn, drained and rinsed
2 green onions, diced
1 head boston lettuce, washed and dried.

Brown the chicken and the onion in a large deep skillet until almost done.

Add garlic, ginger, and corn starch

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, chili sauce, and honey. Whisk until combined.

Add sauce to pan along with the water chestnuts, bean sprouts, and baby corn.
